As a member of organizing committee for this seminar in 5th Annual UTM M.Sc.IT-Management Seminar on IT-Security Awareness topic, I have my part of duty to be accomplish before the seminar. I am in charge in certificate and registration part. There are a lot of matters to think about the certificate, to make it simple so that the budget will be decrease? Or to follow the standard format that let the participants get a good certificate after they attending the seminar. As the result from the committee meeting, we design to make the certificate in the simple way. When i start to design and process with the certificate, I found that we can use the faculty facilities to print out the certificate without using any budget of the committee. Our faculty staff, madam Rasidah bte Sarip willing to help us on this matter. I appreciate on her willing and really help a lot.
As one of the member in charge in registration, I also thanks of my member Hor Sze Lim for her helping and fully participant in all the work and preparation that needed. in the actual date of the seminar. We have another three persons, who volunteer to help us in registration while we need to attend the seminar, I really feel thankful for the arrangement. It make me can sit at the seminar hall to concentrate on the talk given.
My personal objective for this seminar is to learn about the knowledge of IT security, and learn on organizing a successful seminar. The seminar is a learning place for me to improve not only the knowledge, but in participant a team work, people connection and relationship is really important. The seminar still have a lot of things to be improve, and for myself still have a lot of things to learn about. It is a starting point, and the learning part will go ever and never ending.
