Personal objective:
1. To improve the knowledge about the IT security.
2. To get experience about how to organize a seminar.
Result:
1. Get some new information about the IT risk and get some knowledge about IT security.
2. Get a lot of experience about how to organize a seminar.
Process:
In the seminar I learn a lot of knowledge about how to organize a success seminar. At 9th Feb in the committee meeting, we decide to organize a seminar which invites the outside speakers to give a lecture. And in the continuing day I join all the committee meeting to decide the seminar objective and seminar process. Our seminar plan gets support form PM Wardah Zainal Abidin. At 22nd Feb we decide the finial process and began all the preparation. I am in the Technical arrangements group and Camera shooting group. The technical arrangement group is to make sure all the equipment in the seminar hall can use, and arrange the seminar hall. So at 28th Feb, I go to seminar hall at D07 floor 4 to prepare and test the equipment. I test all the equipment which seminar may use and arrange the seminar hall for seminar. At the seminar in 1st May, I am the main Camera shooter I use 2 cameras to shoot all scenes which may have value, and at least shoot more than 120 pictures during the 3 hours. And I also transform and debugging the equipment to help the speaker use the projection and microphone. After the seminar finished I join the group to give the experience and summarize what we have learned to give the next grade student.
Lesson Learned
Actually our preparations for seminar still not enough. If we more time to improve the seminar preparation, I think we can do better. And I will list all the things I must avoid in the seminar:
1. We must have enough time to prepare the seminar. A seminar is good easy thing to do, we must consider all the aspect and phase for the seminar, and we should have more committee meeting to solve the problem what we face.
2. The personal problem. My camera have some problem, the battery is not working during the seminar begin, at last I repair the problem, but the seminar beginning I use other’s camera to shoot. If I prepare one more battery it will not happened.
3. Because the harmonize problem, we are not record the speaker’s voice individually. It is a very big regret. If we have more meeting, we can solve this problem.
